ELITE PLAYER DEVELOPMENT COACHES

Your player will have the unique opportunity to work directly with certified coaches from the SL Benfica Academy, professionals who play a key role in shaping the next generation of elite footballers at one of Europe’s most prestigious academies. Through a combination of high-level technical training, tactical understanding, and individualized feedback, these coaches bring the same standards, philosophy, and attention to detail used within the academy to help each player reach a higher level of performance

TECHNICAL AND TACTICAL TRAINING

Benfica’s training methodology develops smart, technically strong players through a clear and organized system. Players learn how to manage space, make purposeful decisions, and adjust to real match situations, both in possession and when defending.

PHYSICAL TRAINING

Training sessions cover movement technique, coordination, agility, and strength, with each element adapted to the specific age group. The aim is to develop practical athletic ability that enhances quick decision-making and sustains performance throughout the game.

GOALKEEPER TRAINING

Goalkeepers take part in position-specific training that emphasizes positioning, reaction speed, passing, and reading the game. Sessions are connected to team play to help develop confident, well-rounded keepers who can contribute in all phases of the match.
